Vertican is informing all Collection-Master users they may encounter issues due to modules showing as not registered. We have found the issue was with vPortal and has been corrected. It is highly recommended that your firm run the Interface Registration to ensure everything is in sync. From the Dashboard, please go to Tools > Interface Registration. Vertican has found an issue with the Daily Record 42 for Midland Accounts in Collection-Master 9.1D.026. This version has a new field in the [1-2-1-1] Forwarder Setup on the EDI Setup Screen called YGC 42 Daily. This new field allows a Record 42 to be created daily for clients without any additional programming. However, this change inadvertently disabled the previous programming for CA20 accounts. It has recently come to our attention that the Collection-Master update 9.1D.024 has an issue where the Month End Attorney Balance is no longer being sent for FORDB. There is an option in the Create Maintenance File [4-2-1-4-Z-X-3] where Include Month End Attorney Balance is set to Y. The code MASLN5 should be sent for all FORDB claims. It has been found that Collection-Master 9.1D.024 has affected a small number of clients where Windows Defender is falsely identifying the application VLMQT.EXE as a threat and deleting it. This is due to a false positive reported by Microsoft in the version that was released. Users who attempt to open Collection-Master will receive an error 4152 on line 23176 and will be unable to continue. To all firms that have installed Collection-Master 9.1D.022 or recently updated to 9.1D.024 from that version, an issue has been identified when using WPScripts to add a numeric infinity field to a claim. The field does not follow the same rules for the number of decimal places as other dollar amount fields in Collection-Master. For example, when adding a dollar amount of "$100.00" it gets added as "$1." This has been corrected in 9.1D.024 which is currently available. Vertican has received requests for programming changes to the Collection-Master CITI3 DTP. These changes include: Vendor Placement File Vendor Maintenance File Vendor Inbound File We will program Collection-Master to be compliant with the changes, test with Citi directly, and pass. It has been found that Collection-Master 9.1D.020 has an issue where Windows Antivirus is falsely considering the application VLMQT.EXE as a threat and deleting it. Any user that attempts to open Collection-Master will receive an error 4152 on line 23176 and will be unable to continue. VLMQT.EXE was thoroughly tested by Vertican prior to releasing the update on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.
