In Collection-Master version 9.1E.004, released on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, as well as in 9.1E.005 (a special release for firms doing Citibank work) released on Friday, November 13, 2020, we inadvertently included the enhanced Discover Inbound Plus programming. Discover originally asked for the change to the export file in June, as they intend to test the changes with two pilot firms prior to moving ahead with all firms. That testing with the pilot firms is happening soon. The rest of the firms should continue to report the Inbound Plus File as usual.
If you are running 9.1E.004 or 9.1005, you have the new, incorrect version of the Discover Inbound Plus program. Vertican’s client services team will reach out to you Wednesday, November 18, to verify you have the correct version of the Discover Inbound Plus program.
John Currey, Senior Vice President of Technical Services, has personally spoken with Christy Kuder at Discover. She is aware of the situation and our remediation plan.
If you have not installed 91D.004 or higher, please send a quick email to cssupportemail@vertican.com letting us know you still have the correct version of the Discover Inbound Plus program. This will allow our client services team to respond more quickly to other firms in need of assistance.
